Dear Linemen, Friends, and Community,

Welcome to the Canadian Association of Forces Lineman (CAFL) web site. This association is dedicated to serving and retired Linemen promoting awareness of the line culture throughout the forces and community. As one of the largest growing associations in the forces we strongly believe that in order to achieve excellence we must help preserve and promote our line culture through many different activities. In the past, fishing derbies, camping events, parties, golfing, family scholarships and, and so much more has made individuals more understanding and educated about the beauty of our association.

My vision for this 2009-2010 year revolves around the simple fact that we want others to see that there can be unity within the association. We live in one the few countries that contains so many rich and diversified associations. Let us now learn to take advantage of the experiences that are given to us and grow from there. This association has grown so much in the recent years from past to present members. I sincerely hope that if you are not presently a member you all become a part of CAFL and truly experience the benefits that this association can bring to your own life. As Mahatma Gandhi wrote, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
